When I think waffles, my mind takes me to Belgium, the frozen food section of the supermarket, or pairing them with massive amounts of butter and syrup for breakfast. But with Drool Waffles, Delhites and the staff here at LBB alike will be taken on a journey of sweet, savoury, and spicy waffles, especially given Drool's new waffle menu.
Having launched at the Palate Fest this past weekend in Nehru Park, Drool Waffles has taken Delhi by storm with their innovative menu, and freshly baked healthy waffles. Their menu includes delicious savoury items created by Chef Saby, like the Angry Barking Dog Waffle, which includes a soy sausage and all the regular toppings of a traditional American hot dog, wrapped in a fresh waffle. Who'd have thought to use a waffle as a hot dog bun? But the combination is magical.
As we said, Drool is the first to specialise in healthy waffles. For all you vegetarians out there concerned about the batter, fear not! Drool has you covered with their own signature eggless batter, so you have no excuse not to join in the fun. To add to that, they also include the calorie count for each waffle, for those of you watching your weight. And for kids, or for the kid in you, you can even request funny shapes, like a Mickey Mouse Sweet Waffle!
