Kangri |

Kangri-Mutton-Yakhni-Kashmir-Cuisine-Delicious-Gurgaon

How good is this one for Kashmiri food! We were led on by the beautiful graphics on their menu, and could only hope the food wouldn’t disappoint. We ended up loving everything we ordered. The Mutton Yakhni was nothing short of super, the Choek Vangan {eggplant in tamarind gravy} was a first for us; one that we’ll go back for again. The special Mujh chutney — with radish, yoghurt, green chillies and walnuts — was special indeed; we suggest ordering more than one and keeping it in stock for a day or two to add excitement to mid-week meals. We’re big fans of the smallish portion sizes. Yep, you heard that right. Reasonable portions meant that the meal for two was just right, the pricing was great, and that we could try multiple things on the menu instead of being stuck with only one massive pot of an item at a time.

Cocktail Menu at Crazy Noodles |

Crazy-Noodles-Gurgaon-Asian-Cuisine-Cocktails

If you thought your noodles weren’t crazy enough, maybe you need cocktail goggles. You can now enjoy a little tipple with your teppanyaki, with the all-new drinks menu at this funky little Chinese restaurant. If you feel the need to earn your drink, the puzzles at the table could be your way in. Whiskey, wine and beer aside, we’d recommend their rather original concoctions like Romeo and Julep, Benedict Cucumberbatch, and the aptly named Wrong Island Iced tea. For cheap thrills, order a repeat of their Kaffir Lime Mint Mojito called I’ll Have Another. Ha!

Divin-e-licious |

Divin-e-licious-Online-Cakes-Cup-Cake-Red-Velvet-Chocolate

We at LBB are huge fans of the good work being done by the lovely sisters behind Divin-e-licious, Gayatri and Anushka Kakkar. We’ve raved about their cupcakes before and were over the moon to hear they had decided to push the baking envelope and expand their menu to include a variety of mini jar cakes. Each eggless cake is baked into a little jar dripping in pearls and packed into a gorgeous floral box, just in time for the festive season. We tore through the classic chocolate, licked the jar of chocolate ganache clean, and wept with joy over the red velvet. Our personal favourite though was the chocolate nougat, which made us feel like our mouths were surfing through waves of impossibly rich chocolate interspersed with perfect, little bursts of nougat-y crunch.
