Y'know the hassle of cutting, chopping then cooking onions (not to mention the tears), tomatoes and garlic (the smell that lingers for days) makes me super lazy about cooking something healthy for myself most days. NihKan, though, is a saviour for lazy and busy people alike, with their sun dehydrated vegetable powders that are really easy to use by literally using as it is or making it into a paste.
These packets end up being pretty affordable, too, considering 1 tablespoon of the onion powder is equal to 2 large onions and 1 tablespoon of the tomato powder is 4 tomatoes (whoa.) They also have powders for ginger, garlic and green chillies and a really cool flour replacement called banana flour that can be used for baking or even to thicken up soups or make chapatis.
I like that they don't use any chemicals to dehydrate the veggies and the entire process of drying only intensifies the taste. They also stay good for 18 months which is about 17.5 months longer than most veggies currently in my fridge.
