After 30 long years, the wait is finally over. Nike is bringing its original basketball shoes, Air Jordan 1 High to VegNonVeg in Meherchand Market.
To celebrate, there’s a Jumpman party and an exhibition-cum-sale for all those who are itching to lay their hands on these coveted pairs.
Who Is It For?
Umm, for Nike brand loyalists and those who’ve so far only complained about the absence of these from the Indian market. Cool kids and sporty people are also welcome.
Why Should I Go For It?
11am onwards, early birds get rewarded for their enthusiasm as two fresh colourways {very limited in number} will go up on sale at the store. For athletes {or not} who are well versed with the history of these shoes, there will also be an exhibition of rare and famed Jordans on display. The preview will begin by 11am but the party only kickstarts around 8pm.
Oh, and there’ll be old school hip hop and Absolut. We aren’t complaining.
Anything Else?
You won’t be allowed to the party in just any pair of shoes, okay? The store has a strict “No Kicks No Entry” policy that they’ve warned they’ll be enforcing without any exceptions. Dust and polish those sneakers, then, if you’re keen to attend. And, don’t forget to RSVP here.
