No Eye Rolls: Talk To Blindfolded Strangers In A Garden

Rene posted on 7th February

What Is It?

InkWeaver recently organised a blindfolded talk in Pune which went well, so they're now replicating the format for us Delhi peeps.

Keeping in tune with the rules, Lodhi Garden will see a whole bunch of strangers who'll gather to discuss bad poetry, ideologies, conspiracy theories or their current favourite book with blindfolds on.

Who Is It For?

Everyone who likes to talk. Everyone who likes to listen. Everyone who wants to try something new. Also, all of those bursting with ideas but don’t have a captive audience to listen to them {okay we were kidding about the captive audience bit}.

Why Should I Go For It?

For the first time, you’ll be able to make conversation with people you’ve never met or seen. It’s your chance to share thoughts in a non-judgemental fashion where you aren’t distracted by how someone looks or their body language.

If you aren’t much of a listener, this might be a good exercise to engage in, and if you are, it's your chance to be heard Win-win.

Anything Else?

Carry a dupatta or a stole to tie around your eyes and go with an open mind.
