What Makes It Awesome

No-Mad is an online, Indian lifestyle brand, inspired by everyday Indian life—both past and present—full of beautiful dots, stripes and prints.

Bringing an idea to life by simply using Indian lifestyle products like muddahs, lassi glasses, and mundane everyday objects, No-Mad is full of contemporary items. Established by Anuj Kothari in 2013, they’ve created stunning decor pieces with the help of the very talented Valerie Barkowski.

We love the art prints of the mascot Nandi Bull with the bindi on it’s head. While some of the pieces are difficult to set amidst traditional Indian households, we think that their pillows, cushions and upholstery are so beautifully done that they have a lasting appeal. The Bandhani-inspired Bindu print table collection is just the right amount of cutesy and quirky in reds, purples and blues.

The creators believe that the objects can ‘easily sit in a beach house in Alibag as they can somewhere in the South of France’. The Navika and Gunjan cushions are on our wish lists as is the muddah. If you’re looking for a quick gift, we can also recommend the Nisadi Gilaas Candles, with a floral mix of neroli, bergamot, and cedar.

They also provide free shipping across India and ship across the world, so what are you waiting for?

Price: Cushion covers start at INR 1,450, tableware at INR 350, furniture at INR 5,250.
