The Leh tour is spread over nine days, beginning in Delhi, and will involve travelling to and visiting the famous hill station’s main attractions. Your adventure will start in Delhi, where you’ll take a bus to Manali. After a day of exploring Old Manali you will slip through the famous Rohtang Pass and head to Sarchu.
By the third day you’ll enter the beautiful city of Leh. You spend the next three days exploring the city and its surroundings, including the stunning confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, Pangong Lake and the Monastery of Leh. After the city, next comes the Numbra Valley and the following day, a camel safari. Day nine you arrive back in Manali and prepare for your trip home to Delhi.
What Do We Think?
The draw of Kerry Adventure’s tour is their desire to create a unique experience for the traveller. Their raw tours involve hands on work, following ancient trade routes, and camping as early traders and travellers would. These lengthy, yet rewarding journeys are different to today’s glamping tours and luxury getaways, and that in itself is a major draw.
