Cosy, close to all the cool hangout spots and bathed in white… Meet this rooftop apartment in Nizamuddin West that’s just right for hipster friends who are visiting Delhi. Its cafe-like feel combined with home-like comforts {Babita’s food for the win} will make them want to stay forever.

Of Fairy Lights & Fluffy Cushions

It’s pretty evident that the place has been designed by someone who loves a Mediterranean vibe. The ample greens and whites {big cushions are bae} are soothing and the bamboo roof on the partially covered living rooms is where we see ourselves chilling with our friends, devouring every piece of gossip that we’ve missed over WhatsApp.

We hear that communicating with the host, Christo, is a cakewalk. He’s prompt and professional as you make the bookings and has made sure that the internet is never an issue when you stay at Amarika {he lovingly calls his pad that}. The good thing is that there are two bedrooms, making it a great choice for friends who are dating or just two people who like personal space {the space can take maximum of four people}. In fact, even if your pal is flying solo, the host books the entire apartment. Truth be told, we wouldn’t change this approach one bit.

Cook, Connect Or Chill...

Give us fairy lights and greens together and we’re sold. This is probably why we’re so drawn to how this pad looks and feels, bedecked in so much prettiness and laden with handpicked artworks. The super helpful cook, Babita, is incredible at her job too. So home-cooked meals are a given and she swiftly even calls you a cab in case your friend needs to run to Khan market for a quick catch-up or make a trip to Janpath for some souvenir shopping.

Evenings are obviously to stroll around Lodi Garden or Humayun’s Tomb or at a cafe in Defence Colony. These are a stone’s throw away from the apartment and once your friend and you have eaten enough doughnuts {or aloo chaat}, he/she can go back to the pristine white bed that’s made for Netflix and dreams.

So, We're Saying...

Don’t forget to tell your pals to carry their unicorn PJs… They’ll make for beautiful Instagram stories.
