What Makes It Awesome

It's funny how the same masalas and the same spices can make for distinctly different dishes. Pakistani food is something like that. With stronger Afghani and Uzbeki influences, Pakistani food has evolved over time. This pop-up is a glimpse of what actually Pakistanis eat when they have a Daawat at their homes.

Our home culinaire, Ruchira has lived in Pakistan and has lovingly collected recipes from people around her and is now putting it all together as a treat for you.

What Could Be Better?

Nothing as such, just be there to experience the culture and a delicious spread. Also, be there on time, as the food tastes best when it's fresh and just out of the kitchen.

What's My Pro Tip?

The spread is scheduled to take place on October 8 {Sunday, 12:30pm to 3:30pm}.

Menu - Their welcome drink is the spiced tamarind sharbat. While their appetisers include chandan kebabs, apple pakoras with chaat masala, and khagina with bun maska. In the mains, you will be treated to mutton stew, chicken shorba, aloo matar qeema, palak besan ke kofte, daal bharey karele, shakarkandi ke paranthe, and saffron and almond rice. If that wasn't enough, then you have sheer qurma and custard kunafa for desserts.
