Be Part of a Dance Installation with Dance: Tracing Traces

The information in this post might be outdated

What is It?

Have you ever wanted to be part of a live art installation? Do you also happen to love dance so much you've been crazy enough to try every dance form in the book? Well, here’s your chance to be part of an interactive dance performance designed by Anish Popli of Choreotheque Dance Studio, and hosted by Instituto Cervantes Nueva Delhi.

Who is It for?

Those who are passionate about dance, love to watch dance, love art, and love that sweet spot where dancers, audience, art and philosophy collide.

Why Should I Go for It?

The installation has two parts–the first is a visual room, and the second is a pitch-black three dimensional sonic space where the participant's movement generates a soundscape.

The interactive system reacts directly to how you behave, exploring the idea of how the participant and performer both become a physically active part of the installation. We’re pretty sure you’ll never get a chance to be part of something like this again.

There’s nobody here to judge you as you create your own choreography.

Anything Else?

This installation received much appreciation when it was showcased at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance recently. It’s now in Delhi for a week, after painstaking efforts by the artists, so be sure to book your slot and dance your way into something memorable!
