What Makes It Awesome

Food writer and consultant, Monika Manchanda is amplifying a fundraiser by BeingYou and Ashwini Charitable Trust for the trans community & marginalised sex workers affected due to COVID-19. She's edited, curated, and compiled 20 pickle recipes in the e-book Pickle Fairy of Hope. The e-book has recipes from 20 regions which include 10 of her family recipes and basics around pickling as well as 10 recipes curated from chefs, consultants, and bloggers from the food industry -- chef Gautam Krishnankutty of Bangalore's Cafe Thulp and The Smoke Co fame, food consultants Saee Koranne-Khandekar and Payal Shah of Kobo Fermentary,  author of Five Morsels of Love Archana Pidathala, food writer & consultant Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal, nutritionist and columnist Sangeeta Khanna, food bloggers Sreya Vittaldev and Nivedita Chengappa, and food show host & raconteur Rakesh Raghunathan.    

You can contribute to the fundraiser by donating an amount of your choice and on Wednesday, June 30th, you will receive the e-book. All the proceeds will go to helping those affected in the trans community & marginalised sex workers.
