As you move towards Hauz Khas village to have your unique experience, you must have noticed the white mandir that is on your left. This is the Sri Jagannath Mandir and you can get your hands on delectable sweets and a very reasonably priced tasty lunch. The sweets , though very limited variety , are sold from a very unassuming shop just outside the temple. For those of you with a sweet tooth, the Rosogolla and chena gaja sold here are outstanding. They are priced very reasonably too. The pure vegetarian lunch that is found in the temple premises can be booked by 930am. The telephone number is 011-24626966 They keep it packed and ready for you to be picked at around 1 pm. The lunch consists of rice, a dal, two sabzis and kheer and comes at a price of 85/-. Yes, you read the price right 😀 By the way, if you want to have it within the temple premises, it's cheaper. They have dining facilities, but don't expect anything fancy. It's a delicious pure vegetarian fare and you'll definitely want to repeat the experience.

What's My Pro Tip?
Try to book your meals so that you don't miss out. The meals are available everyday. One must realise that these are the ' Prasad '. For the sweets, you need to go by lunchtime since the stock is limited.
Do try and visit the beautiful Sri Jagannath Mandir and experience it during the Rath Yatra.
