Get your game on at SMAAASH Pitstop Brewpub and Skykarting, which combines refreshing beer and sharing platters with a spot of some adrenaline-pumping action.

Swerve & Chug

Pitstop brings together gaming and guzzling with a karting track and a microbrewery with all the bells and whistles neatly contained in one giganomous truck! The apps are classic crowd-pleasing fare. We love the Peppery Cheesy Bites- crunchy, gooey, herby cigars perfect with a spot of sweet chilli, and the Yakitori Chicken, gorgeously grilled and served on a bed of sprouts.

The in-house brews are fresh and flavourful but our vote goes to the Sting Ray, a wheat beer with the secret twist of orange peel and coriander and the Falcon – a robust Dunkel {dark German lager} with a dark chocolate finish.

Non-beer drinkers can rejoice in the extensive range of cocktails served at Pitstop. Special shout-out for the martinis. Fresh, fruity and perfect for dainty sips, we were quite bowled over by both the Watermelon and Basil Martini, and the Kaffir Lime and Peach Martini.

Ready, Set, Go!

A spot of action at the sky karting track between courses is going to work up an appetite, so look beyond the starters for some belly filling treats. The Mumbai Masala Club is spot on – loaded with spicy potato mash and a street style attitude – and it’s something we can imagine eating every holiday in bed. For a more oriental fix, opt for the Yasi Ramen -a noodle soup brimming with veggie goodness.

End on a classic note with the Gooey Chocolate Brownie.

What Didn't Impress Us

The crispy onion rings weren’t crispy enough, and miss that crackin’ crunch we expected of them.

#LBBTip

We love that Pitstop has a separate menu for the young ones, serving up crowd pleasers like potato smileys and hot dogs. How thoughtful is that!
