Strap on your comfy shoes because this city is all about exploring. If you fancy art then head over to their Design District & get ready to be immersed in some colourful & neo-classical vibes. They have museums like Kiasma, Helsinki Art Museum or the Design Museum, each one filled with beautiful art pieces & made of world-class architectural designs. You can also check out Kamppi Chapel of Silence for peace of mind or Helsinki Cathedral or the Uspenski Cathedral solely for their beautiful structure. There’s also the Temppeliaukio Church (also known as Rock Church) which is quarried out of the natural bedrock & is known best for its unique acoustic quality, making is unmissable on concert nights.

Bring out your sporty side & indulge in some daredevil activities to get all warmed up. Try out ice swimming at Löyly or Allas Sea Pool and ice skating at Central Railway Station to experience authentic Finnish winters without getting too chilly.

Where To Stay?

You can choose to take up a place at Punavuori in the centre of town to be close to some of the most happening places in towns. Bars, vintage shops, boutiques, galleries and more - most of your must-visit places are within a 20-30 minute span.

Where To Eat & Drink?

Caffeinators, chuck those Starbucks cups away & spoil yourself to homemade fresh brews from neighborhood cafes like Johan & Nyström in Katajanokka or Levain in Punavuori & Töölö or Kahvila Siili, a summer cafe in Helsinki’s historic Käpylä neighborhood.

For an authentic Finnish cuisine, grab tapas from Juuri or head to Savoy or Kolmonen for a tasty, locally sourced meal or something more If you’re looking for something more suited for date night, then check out Ultima and Nolla or Michelin starred restaurants like Olo, Ask, Demo or Grön to try out some of the finest this city has to offer. Plus, they have a lot of tiny cafes and markets where you can just grab a quick bite en route to all your touristy destinations.

After a long day of scouting the city, all we really want to do is kick back & relax with a couple of drinks. For times like this, check out The Helsinki Distilling Company’s & savor some of the world’s best gin or head to Bier-Bier for some delightful local craft beer.

What's Around The City?

One way to see the city is by taking a lovely ferry ride from the waterside. If you catch one leaving from the Market Square, then you should also visit some of the coastal islands nearby, such as Lonna, Vallisaari or the fortress of Suomenlinna which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a short trip to national parks of Sipoonkorpi and Nuuksio, both of which are just a short bus-journey away. You can also check out Porvoo - a small city close to Helsinki full small shops & cafes, & charming cobblestone streets & red wooden shore houses.
