There’s a lot of long weekends in store for us this year and, well, with the mountains always calling out to us, we find it very difficult to say no.
We think you should totally head to Bir in Billing and cosy up at goStops. goStops (if you haven’t heard of these awesome guys before) is a youth hostel; it's not a hotel and certainly not one of those boring B&Bs. It’s a young, vibrant and relaxed space that makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. It’s super close to all the major attractions in Bir so you can go exploring quite easily. Check out the monasteries, markets or just explore the city on a bike.
Other than that, goStops also has activities planned so there’s plenty to do with your time there. Don’t feel like stepping out? No problem since the hostel has foosball and a mini home theatre and so much more to keep you engaged. Plus, there’s food 24/7 so if you get the munchies suddenly in the middle of the night, they’ve got you covered. The best part of staying at a goStops, though, is the fact that you end up meeting tons of other travellers from around the world who have their own stories to share. Pick the kind of dorm you’d like to crash in- go ahead and pick a whole private room if you’d like- attend a bonfire, play some good music and make friends and memories you won’t forget in a hurry – that’s what this dorm culture does to you.
