What is it?

De-stress after a hectic week through this pottery and ceramics workshop, organised by the talented potter Rekha Bajpe Aggarwal.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wishes to try their hand at pottery should definitely attend this workshop. Other amateur pottery artists can come along for some tips and tricks, too.

Why should I go for it?

To learn a new art form that will serve two purposes: Help you unwind after a hectic week, and introduce you to a new art form to creatively express yourself. In the first session of the two-part workshop, participants will be introduced to the Japanese-American technique of Raku. In the second workshop, you'll learn how to glaze and fire the pots. There are a maximum of 15 seats in the workshop, which will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

Anything else?

Do not miss the ‘De-stressing with Clay’ activity in the first workshop. The registration fee includes all materials, and participants can also choose to only attend either of the workshops.

Carry some water and liquid soap to clean up afterwards. Make sure you wear old clothes or carry an apron to avoid soiling your clothes.
