Eat At One Of The Oldest Restaurants Of The Country Right Here In The City
What Makes It Awesome?
It's said it only gets better with time. And this is true for National Restaurant in CP Delhi that has been standing high since 1946. This is a genuine heartfelt review of the place that we mistakenly (sinfully) missed until now. Although this is a not much heard about place but people who know about it keep coming back like cold hands to fire. *The taste is of a classic pallet with Desi ghee in every dish. *The mutton and chicken pieces have a melt-in-the-mouth softness. *One of the best part is their chutney that they give with a plate full of onions. *You will be welcomed and served with such courtesy that will make you visit them on loops. The pricing for the items fall in a medium range but it will be worth as the quantity of one plate is good enough for two. Plus you can ask for additional gravy twice or thrice. The place isn't fancy but if you have a heart for taste, this is the place you will cherish for years to come. Because every time we have visited this place, we have met people who claim to be coming here for 30-40 years. Note:- It's not only about non-vegetarians. The vegetarian menu has a number of items too. And they are great at it as well. If you don't believe us, all you have to do is visit them, take a look and sniff as they open their huge containers to serve and then decide :) In picture:- Meat Masala (260/- per plate)
