Sometimes a name pops up almost out of the blue. You hear murmurs, and then there is an explosion. The most recent one that I have noticed making its way around Facebook and the real world gig scene is Sandunes. She is a Bombay based producer, one brimming with the potential to bring it down, if you get the drift. Sanaya Ardeshir is what she is called, when she is not being Sandunes, and Delhi folk have also seen her as part of the Dualist Enquiry Band at the gig they did a few months ago at Blue Frog. Sandunes has just released its debut album called Ever Bridge and when I last checked, it was available for free download through her Facebook page. She also has a whole lot of tour dates for venues around the country, and she even came to Delhi on the 12th of October.
Featured here is a track off of that album, in collaboration with another up and coming name, Siddharth Basrur. The track is called Good To You and it's happy vibes par excellence!
