Rustom's Parsi Bhonu Opens a Cafe at Khoj Studio

The information in this post might be outdated

After successfully bringing Parsi food to the limelight through its Adchini outlet, Rustom’s Parsi Bhonu has recently set up shop at Khoj Studio {where Chill and Chai used to be} in Khirkee Village {opposite Select CITYWALK}.

Whereas the original Parsi Bhonu at Adchini was more about lunch and dinner, the new establishment has been created along the lines of a Bombay cafe {but with Victorian-esque interiors} and is open all day. In addition to a limited number of dishes picked up from their existing menu at Adhchini, expect snacky items such as puffs, paos {they’ve got a bunch of spicy ones made with their home-made pickles}, Bombay Grilled Sandwiches and a Mawa Cake.

If like us, you’re a coffee person, you’ll be happy to know they’ve sourced their beans from Blue Tokai Roastery, along with some of their dishes {the quiches}. We’re looking forward to their Hot Chocolate {with 80% dark chocolate} and the Shrewsbury biscuits sourced all the way from Kayani Bakery in Pune.

PS: They also sell their pickles {prawn, mutton, chicken} by the jar.
