Water Waves: Red Earth Design Mela

Art and apparel come together at Water Waves, hosted by Red Earth. The designer collections include dress materials and accessories from all over the country, ranging from woven and hand-embroidered sarees, traditional Pichvai art from Nathdwara, natural indigo-dyed drapes, to other vintage and contemporary forms of jewellery and apparel.

A Walk In The Rain

Nature enthusiasts assemble! Escape the potholes of the city roads, and take a walk through the verdant forests of Asola as the rains rejuvenate the earth this monsoon. Explore the lush green area, watered by the streams going through it, and spot flora and fauna while you take a break in the lap of nature. This might also be a brilliant opportunity to take out that camera and revive your nature and wildlife photography skills.

Monsoon Festival At Lok Kala Manch

Welcome the monsoons by indulging in some Indian classical music and dance forms at the event hosted by the Hindusthan Art and Music Society, in collaboration with Lok Kala Manch. The two-day programme includes jugalbandis, solo performances, ghazals, and dance recitals by prodigies in instrumental and vocal music, and dance.

New Delhi Monsoon Run

If the pleasant weather has been making you lazy about your gym schedule, it’s time to work those muscles again and earn yourself a trophy. Try the 5km run or challenge yourself with the 10km race. Prizes await for the first three winners in the men/women categories, and finisher medals and refreshments for all. Lace up those shoes and go for it! Registrations close on Jul 28.
