The information in this post might be outdated

This year’s Samanvay promises to be a gala affair with the theme, Insider/Outsider: Writing India’s Dreams and Realities. The fifth edition has a lot planned for attendees; while the focus is on the four languages: Bangla, Dogri, Marathi and Tamil, this year you’ll also have more talks, art and exhibitions and workshops.

Watch out for post-colonial writer, Aijaz Ahmed’s inaugural speech, as well as Tibetan singers, and a panel that will discuss cartoons. Jerry Pinto {of Em and The Big Hoom fame} and other major writers will be there, too. Do go and get your seats before everyone else.
