Sampark Literary Evenings: Slovenian Literature for your Booklust

The information in this post might be outdated

What is it?

Missed out on the Delhi Lit fest, or unable to visit Jaipur? Fret not, for Sampark is bringing you two days of poetry and literature in four {!} different languages.

Sampark Literary Evenings, envisioned to become a forum for literature, ideas and arts for writers and artists from India and the world, has invited Slovenia as the guest of honour at their inaugural session.

We look forward to the award-winning poets and writers like Iztok Osojnik, Barbara Korun, Alenka Jovanovski and Tone Skrjanec reading out poetry to us in English and Slovene. Also in the offering are readings of Hindi translations of German women writers, and the poetry of Jibanananda Das, for those of you who crave a global outlook in your literary journeys.

Who is it for?

Why should I go for it?

To keep up with the globalisation of literature {and not the Kardashians}. SLE has travelled all the way from Kolkata and Allahabad to culminate in Delhi, so don’t miss this rare opportunity!
