What Makes It Awesome

Inventive Asian fare with bold flavours and a great play in textures is the USP of the new menu.

The sushi is on point, but what absolutely steals the show is the new range of curry dim sums. The water chestnut, broccoli, and asparagus dumpling is juicy and moist and comes with a sharp Shanghai Chili sauce and the prawn and almond one also works beautifully- with a hint of crunch and tender prawn niblets, swimming in a gentle light soya sesame sauce.

For mains, you can choose from a range of Oriental curries or even bowl meals. The Thai curry pairs well with jasmine rice and I also enjoyed the Ramen which comes in a smoky broth laden with tofu and veggies.

Don't miss dessert! The Thai Ice cream trio is a sensorial treat. We savour coconut ice cream that has a caramel twist to it, a super fresh zingy mint ice-cream, and the most inventive of them all - a scoop of creamy star anise ice cream.

What Could Be Better?

The steamed Sea Bass left me a bit wanting. While the fish itself was delicious, the pairing with chunky shiitake mushrooms didn't quite work.

What's My Pro Tip?

Come early for lunch here - and enjoy the small plates along with a round of drinks- the Bellini is a delight with flavourful Asian bites.
