I liked the typical personalised service that is so 'Taj' and the fact that this is G-Town's only restaurant dedicated to Thai cuisine {no pan Asian going on here!}.
It is also surprisingly affordable for a luxury property and has a fresh, delicious menu wherein Chef Prajuab travels personally to Thailand for ingredients and R&D. They also have regular food festivals and the current one is Thai street food and that's why it's called - Siam Jan Deaw. This menu is served as rice bowls and you can choose from spicy fried jasmine, jasmine and brown rice. The curries on showcase range from crispy fried scampi in home-style curry, kaffir lime flavour to village style curry with prawn/fish/chicken, betel leaf and my favourite, grilled pork loin, cherry tomato, lemon grass, chilli. Though the two real surprises were the spicy cashew nut, peanut, ginger curry and the stir fried bitter gourd gravy with shallots, vinegar and Chinese cabbage.
