What Makes It Awesome

Plant lovers, you’re in for a treat! We’ve found an awesome indie brand named Ugaoo that is about all things green. Ugaoo is a branch of Namdeo Umaji Agritech that has been working with our Indian farmers for over 130 years and have become a market leader in the last 5 years since its inception. It started in the year 2015 by Siddhant Bhalinge, who, after his post-grad degree in Landscape Architecture decided to work towards his long standing dream of turning urban spaces green. The main idea behind this is to normalise plants in living spaces and establish them as an essential part of a healthy home. Well, we sure know that plants are known to improve the air quality and reduce sound pollution, but they also enhance the overall vibe of your space and improve mental health.

The best part about Ugaoo is that all their plants are grown under expert guidance and will come to you in the healthiest possible condition. Their soil is a special mix which contains fertilisers for a good period of six months that not only promotes healthy root growth but also supports the plants during transit. Their packaging is made of completely biodegradable and recyclable materials which ensures that it is safe during travel.

We totally get that it takes a lot of effort to find a perfect gift for your loved ones. While, plants may not be the most conventional gifting idea that comes to mind, but these green gifts are just perfect for every occasion. Unlike other gifts, plants live a happy and long life if nurtured properly. It’s a gift that doesn’t get redundant. Not just that, plants are the best décor that your home can get as they tend to make any space come alive and add more character to it. Plus, if you make this a habit, then you are doing your bit to reduce the carbon footprint.

Pro Tip

All their plants come in self-watering pots, thus making the gardening journey much easier for amateurs like us.
