After exploring the lanes outside we decided it was time to step foot into the main photo market, and found ourselves in the lane with some of the better-known specialised stores. Chief among them were Pritam’s Digital Camera Repairs, Kandhari Flash Experts and Royal Photo Sales.
Pritam’s {an offshoot of the famous Pritam’s Studio on the vintage camera road} merely consisted of a dusty cubby with a series of ancient looking devices strewn across the table. The repairman, one of the nicest, has been working on cameras since before they were even wires in them.
Adapting with the times and technology, Kandhari exclusively sells flashes; handheld, digital, and manual. Royal Photo Sales focuses on photo printers and has a good stock of Epson brand printers.
