On Sept 04, 500 ‘Smart E’ rickshaws began plying on the streets of Gurgaon.

No More Haggling

Launched at HUDA City Centre station, these pollution-free alternatives will provide last-mile connectivity around metro stations in Gurgaon & Faridabad. These green rickshaws are made in India, GPS-enabled, have a covered cabin as well as a front windscreen, and their movement will be tracked by a control room. With a fixed rate of INR 10 for the first two kms and INR 5 for every subsequent km, these can accommodate 4 passengers comfortably and ferry commuters to areas in a 5 km radius .

Currently, these have been deployed at four other metro stations as well – IFFCO Chowk, MG Road, Sikanderpur and Guru Dronacharya. However, by the end of the year, the fleet size is set to increase by 500 and the number of metro stations to 14.

So, We're Saying...

Your commute from the metro station, back home, is going to be a lot easier courtesy these environment-friendly Smart E rickshaws.
