Ten Second Takeaway

For those who haven't heard of the Spring Fever—this is Penguin Random House’s most awaited literary annual festival, now in it’s eighth edition, here to give you a taste of the stars {by which we mostly mean literary stalwarts}.

Literary Stalwarts, you Say?

We're expecting the likes of Sunil Khilnani, Ram Guha, Shilpa Shetty, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shashi Tharoor, Twinkle Khanna, Sonali Bendre Bahl, Emraan Hashmi, and more!

Spring Fever 2016 is being presented in collaboration with Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre, but our favourite part of this whole affair is the Open Air Library {featuring Penguin Random House’s books}. A celebration of books, music and everything nice, this is your opportunity to get up close and personal with your favourite authors.

Expect an open-air library featuring a wide range of our titles during the day, that is transformed into a hub of literary bustle, featuring key authors, previews of forthcoming and latest books, and panel discussions in the evening.

You get to buy some books, get 'em signed and even indulge in some fascinating panel discussions. Don’t forget to look out for the musical performances too!

These are some of the discussions we're looking forward to:

The Challenge of Contemporary History

Ramachandra Guha previews his highly anticipated book Democrats and Dissenters.

Nawaznama

Nawazuddin Siddiqui talks about cinema, his journey and his life, in his forthcoming book.

Kitaabein…

Gulzar on books, literature, and poetry: In conversation with Sunil Sethi.

There’s so much more. Stay tuned!
