Go For Comedy Sticks, An Ode To Stand-Up Comedy

The information in this post might be outdated

What Is It?

Comedy Sticks is a stand-up comedy show that honours one of the most difficult art forms; that of making people laugh. Produced by Utopeen, the show will celebrate comedians who steal the show with their quick wit and perfectly-delivered punch lines, as well as promote up-and-coming comedic and musical talent.

Who Is It For?

Anyone with a funny bone. Hosted by Delhi-based comedian Prakhar Pramod, Comedy Sticks features two well-loved funny men. Sex, weight loss, alcoholism and politics; it's all on the agenda, so we hope you're not easily offended.

Why Should I Go For It?

To stand up for comedy! Show your support as stand-up comedy picks up pace in the capital, and end your week on a happy note. Raghav Randhawa, a South Delhi brat at heart, has been performing for a very long time, and has been a huge influence on the comedy scene in the capital.

Joining him on stage is Abhijit Ganguly from Kolkata, who likes to make fun of life as it passes him by. Driving in the city, the right age to get married or superheroes; he has something to say about it all.

Anything Else?

Making their debuts on the same night are comedian Manu Hateli from Haridwar, as well as a new-age, alternative musical act called Cynosure.
