BYOB, Steaks On Order & Quirky Merch: Have You Been To This Ahaata Yet?

The information in this post might be outdated

Shortcut

One of the many ahaatas in Gurgaon, Outback is nothing much to look at from outside – just a small cafe next to a theka. The tiny door however gives way to a massive pebbled al fresco space complete with a live music corner and a store.

Chicken + Beer

The most winning combination, if you ask us. And when you buy your beer at MRP prices {we understand this is slightly higher in G-town as compared to Delhi}, it makes the experience even sweeter. The only downside – no cocktails here, though you’re welcome to order mixers and make your own.

You first buy your booze from Lakeforest Wines and then take your white plastic bags inside and grab a table {go up to the terrace if you want a quieter, more intimate space}. The menu’s a mix of Continental, Italian and Asian with the BBQ section standing out the most, to us.

We tried their Peri Peri Chicken and Chicken Steak {tenderloin was unavailable} and were wowed by both. The Cheesy Garlic Bread is worth a bite too.

Doughnut Leave W/O Shopping

Or at least perusing the shop. Dragonfly has a mish-mash of home decor, T-shirts, duck-shaped contact lens cases, card holders and other “utility” items such as doughnut cushions and Simpsons bags. And everything’s totes adorable.

So, We're Saying...

Go here for a round of drinks with some good ol’ chicken and follow it up with a bout of retail therapy.
