Staying as cool as a cucumber is hard in this weather, but someone in Delhi always make it easier. This time round, it's The Hungry Monkey with their summer cocktail menu! We tried a few of their unconventional {but delicious!} pairings and are letting you in on the 411.

The Carnival
We've all roasted 'dem marshmallows, whether it was over an actual campfire or over the stove for some sleepover fun. They've taken that, soaked them in some vodka {fire hazard, so don't roast 'em} and mixed it with a pineapple froth. The creamy sweetness of the Vanilla marshmallows compliments the pineapple froth, and the vodka doesn’t overpower the overall balance of this sweet drink.
Watermelon Sangria
Want to keep it light and simple? Fresh and fruity? A novel take on the age-old favourite, the Watermelon Sangria is a subtle mix of fresh watermelon juice combined with Chenin Blanc. It's sans sugar, so it's great if you're watching that waistline.
Anjum Beach
Oh, all of you with a sweet tooth- you'll love this. Mix of champagne, Crème de Cassis, and homemade blueberry compote. We were floored but how good a dessert {practically} in a glass can taste!
Pickled Cucumber Martini
Intrigued? We were too. A delightful lime green cocktail, this has the potent kick of vodka, and the zestiness of cucumber in vinegar. A martini with a twist, we say try this, for the story if nothing else.
THM Michelada
Lager beer, tomato juice and tabasco – what’s not to love? Anything with tomato juice and we always go to a Bloody Mary, but this one is completely different and will definitely hit the spice spot!
Drinking always leads to snacking, we know that and we're telling you, theyre good for their Masala Fries. You could also try the Falafel sliders {there's also a chorizo variant} and if all the sweet drinks didn't do it for you, their lemon pound cake just might. It did for us.
