We were kicked at the mere mention of the word 'Poshtel', which is basically a posh hostel in Hauz Khas. Called LetsBunk, this space has a gourmet cafe, a deck that overlooks the forest, a co-working space and a budget-friendly hostel (where you can bundle up all those friends coming from out of town).

What Makes It Awesome
There’s always that one person in the gang who’s not the type to rough it out. Their idea of a hostel is a bit out of a horror movie, with icky shared bathrooms, creaky beds and unaccommodating room mates. This hostel stereotype is exactly what the founders of LetsBunk are trying to debunk.
“We’re trying to change things around and call out to the poshpacker. So we don’t have any of the typical backpacked hostel stuff, like Shiva motifs or kitschy cafes. Everything at LetsBunk is clean and modern,” said Gautam, the brain behind this new concept.
In a day and age when our social interactions are becoming more and more impersonal, this seems like a breath of fresh air – Poshtel combines hotel-like comforts and the close knit, community-feeling of a hostel. You can meet, connect and eat with people from all over and who knows, you might finally bump into someone who inspires you make that start-up idea finally happen.
There are just so many feel-good things about this place. Sunshine is ample and it’s surrounded by greens. The breakfast is included in the per night tariff and the wi-fi is super fast. And, soon enough, they’ll host yoga classes, local tours and Netflix nights. What’s not to like here, guys?
If you’re someone who likes his/her space away from the pack, there’s a private loft to hide in. Or, they’ve got social rooms that can take 6-8 people and start at INR 850/night. There’s even a girls-only social room (in case you’re a bit of a tentative solo traveller).
What Could Be Better
The hostel is a bit hard to locate and it's slightly difficult to reach by car/taxi (since it is located in the inner streets of Hauz Khas Village).
