Winning For

The responsive and prompt staff, coupled with good food and the overall vibe of the restaurant makes for a killer combo. This restaurant, unlike many in the city, is also kid-friendly.

Mark Your Territory

The wooden hut-shaped lodge, with a lounge area and an al fresco style forest section, transports you to another realm {while still being situated in Connaught Place}. Trophy busts of animals adorn the walls, giving it an authentic hunter’s lodge look and feel, and the comfortable seating is another plus.

More Than Just Game Meat

We started with a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian samplers, which included bruschetta, cajun fries and potato wedges with garlic mayo. While all three were cooked to perfection and balanced in taste, the chicken, and the tomato, olive and onion bruschetta impressed us. We also tried the prawn skewers, which were spiced with a herb, garlic and trio pepper mix, and totally loved them.

The Indian mains are nothing out of this world but should get a mention for being well-portioned. The herb crusted fish steak and the grilled chicken steak had incredible taste and texture.

We tried quite a few drinks there, but none really impressed us except the Jamboree Sunrise, which was vodka-based, and the Jamboree Night, which was tequila-based.

So, We’re Thinking…

We would definitely recommend it for those looking to experience something new in town. The restaurant has been done up well and is an experience in itself.  So if you’re hungry and hunting for your next go-to hang out, try this.
