Ten-Second Takeaway

In a city {or country} with a preference for excessively milky or saccharine chai, Anandini Tea Room is the perfect retreat, where you can get a taste of delicate infusions of tea and pick some to take back home.

Hello, Is It Tea You’re Looking For?

From classics like English Breakfast & Earl Grey to festive blends like Dusk in the Woods {black tea infused with pink peppercorn & blue cornflower}, Humming Homewards {an intense blend of fragrant orange, spices, and dark Oolong}, and Sunshine Waltz {green tea infused with palash flowers, rose petals, & aniseed}, the collection at Anandini is a tea-lover’s dream come true.

Hailing from a family passionate about their tea, Anamika Singh’s venture also brings us seven different variants of tea from estates in Japan and China, which includes a Taiwanese Oolong Tea that’s supposed to be off the charts.

You Can Get Oolong Really Well

ATR 2White, warm, and airy, Anandini Tea Room’s small space exudes warmth the moment you walk in. The high community table at the centre of the room is great way to interact with some new and interesting people while sipping on hot cups of tea and munching on some cookies.

If you wish to pick up some tea for yourself, you can try out a few blends first. Our favourite has to be the Pinewood Smoked Tea—the aftertaste of which will take you straight tp the woods. Other brilliant blends include Green Tea, Fire-flame Bush, and Mint & Indian Bouquet.

#LBBTip: Get yourself an assorted pack of 10 potlis for some variety.
