Thai Curries And Thukpa At Rigo Noodles In Kamla Nagar

Shortcut

Rigo Noodles is a no-frills place that holds its own among the array of Kamla Nagar joints, serving Chinese, Thai and Tibetan to hungry college students and residents.

Must Eat

Go for the sui mai or their Szechuan momos served in spicy gravy. If you’re looking for a wholesome meal on a smaller budget, choose the khow suey or the Thai curries with steamed rice. However, with the monsoon setting in, nothing would beat a bowl of steaming thukpa {ask for a dash of extra garlic for a stronger flavour}.

Must Drink

The menu does not have anything fancy to offer here, so stick to the basic aerated beverages.

What We Loved

Rigo Noodles is an escape from the constant hustle and bustle of the Kamla Nagar market. Neat and tidy, with no loud music, it is ideal when all you’re looking for is a hearty conversation with a friend over a bowl of noodles.

What Didn’t Impress Us

The restaurant has just a single unisex washroom, and it’s not super pleasant to use.

What Is The Best Time To Visit?

You can find a place anytime during the week, although weekends may be slightly busier.
