I don't need an excuse to have dessert, I'm very comfortable with my sugar addiction; finding a new home baker whose desserts look this good, though, is an excuse better than most. I found The Baking Racks on Instagram and their picture perfect desserts like lemon meringue pie, macarons and Belgian chocolate cake are all made to order.
The hazelnut brownies have a gooey centre and crackly top that would be perfect with some ice-cream. The New York baked cheesecake topped with berries is creamy and indulgent, but my personal favourite had to be the lemon meringue pie that's been toasted just the right amount. Also following the biscoff craze, they've got a biscoff cheesecake with a cookie butter dripping and you need to try it for yourself.
They also do desserts like cookies, carrot cake, eclairs, croissants and some vegan and gluten-free options like a flourless chocolate cake, matcha strawberry cake and, if you ask, most desserts otherwise can be made eggless, too.
The cakes are priced INR 1,600 upwards and cookies are approx. INR 400.
