We've Got Good Views: The Village Deck In HKV

One of the many restaurants going strong in HKV, The Village Deck promises spectacular views, a couple of stellar dishes and middle-of-the-road cocktails.

The menu is a mix and match affair: They’ve got oriental, Tandoori, Lebanese, Italian and north Indian. Pick from the usual kadai chicken, penne Arrabbiata or take the road less taken with their Butter Chicken Kulcha, Tofu Kofta, Kathal Taco and Lamb Shanks in Mulberry Sauce {we hear this one’s quite the bomb}.

The Village Deck has an impressive selection of drinks as well, but we wouldn’t be too swayed by the fancy names and descriptions. In fact, keeping it simple is key here; we’re thinking mojitos and G&Ts.

If you’re lusting for a sweet bite post your meal, you may have to shift base {to Maison des Desserts or l’Opera perhaps?}, unless you’re in the mood for brownies. The Village Deck’s dessert menu comprises only a luscious chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.
