Dear Uncle is a Cheese Store in the winding streets of Lado Sarai that has added a few tables to allow the public to sample its cheese in the form of delicious thin-crust Pizzas, Cheese Cakes, and Tiramisu. They have been around for ages- previously known as Cheese Chaplin- and are a local favorite. Unfortunately, they aren't very well known outside the Lado Sarai area.
They are primarily Cheese Manufacturers who also stock cheeses from around India and the world. For the food, they use their own brand, and boy, it really builds your confidence in Indian-made Cheese. The Pizza is so good that we had to order another after finishing one. We literally had to force the cheese cake in after that.
The owner- self-proclaimed Uncle- manages the store by himself and makes sure you have a great time in terms of food, service and conversation. Dig deep and he'll tell you why they had to drop the Chaplin name.
