A newly-opened two-floored space in Khan Market, Baar Baar is a gorgeous pop-up restaurant that has our heart. The restaurant is Chef Sujan’s baby (who’s also been immensely successful with Baar Baar New York and Baar Baar San Francisco) and is Delhi’s chance to get a bite of his delectable creations (the opportunity’s only available for six months).
The place has a very relaxing ambience (don’t miss the gorgeous painting in the staircase) and during summers, they’ll even open up a balcony area.
The list of dishes we hogged on include the Green Pea Kulcha With Goat Cheese And Truffle Butter, Paneer Chilli, Local mushroom, Crispy Lentil Cake, Baar Baar Fried Chicken, Paneer Makhani, ,Raagi Brownie With Masala Chai Ice Cream, Moongdal Baklava and Chena Churros along with three cocktails- Kulupi Sherbet, Leh Berry Collins and Royal Mawalin.
Everything we had was extremely fresh, and it’s impossible not to swoon over the flavours hitting you just right. A special shoutout is for the Kulupi Sherbet; it's basically caramelised coconut water with rum in it-this cocktail was the winner of the night. It was soothing and refreshing as a drink can be.
