The Har Ki Dun Trek Is A Doorway To Ancient Himalayan Villages & It's Epic!

    What Makes It Awesome?

Har Ki Doon trek is one of the most picturesque treks in the Garhwal region. The six-day hike takes you through ancient villages, dense pine forests, lush green meadows, and pristine white snow, following the same trail that supposedly the Pandavas took to heaven. Treat yourself to the magnificence of the Swargarohini peaks, Supin river and amazing cloud formations at the final camp or go further to the Jaundhar Glacier. Although it is an all-season trek, it is much more beautiful during the winter months with vivid sunsets. The entire cost of the trek will be around INR 11000.

    What Could Be Better?

Accommodation is scary along the trekking trail, so make sure to carry your own tent, food and water.

    What's My Pro Tip?

Travel by train to Dehradun instead of a bus or a cab.

    Anything Else?

It's a recommended trek even for a novice with good physical fitness. The sunsets and sunrise on this trek are simply stunning. Leave the warmth of your camps to witness them. While trekking from Seema to Har Ki Doon, you will come across a steep ascent till a place known as Kalkatiya Dhar, don't give up and keep moving forward, the hike battle is almost won, the gradient is easy and forgiving after that.
