Try Zai: Alcohol Galore and Big Banoffee Pies

Mostly known as a place to party, Zai in GK 2 is now expanding its food menu. Head here for drinks, dinner and hookah.

Zai has the {slightly seedy} dark decor, plush chairs and the party-all-night vibe down pat. It’s been around for a while, doling out shisha, EDM, and Bollywood nights for the South Delhi crowd that doesn’t make it to HKV. But what’s new is the menu.

We recommend the finger food, mainly because Zai offers a lot of alcohol deals throughout the week; the appetisers complement the booze perfectly. The chicken quesadillas work well with Absolut-ly {vodka, cranberry and pineapple juice}, the sweet balancing the spice just right. Likewise the Diced Chicken with Green Curry Garnish, along with a Moscow Mule {ginger, beer, vodka, lime.}

We ordered the Banoffee Pie and were definitely not expecting the huge portion that made its way to us. This is not a run-of-the-mill pie, but more a bed of desserts. Two can {and should!} share one of these and not have space left for much more.
