Look what just came in the news, Uber launches uberAUTO. With this launch, you can now pay for your ride in cash, based on government approved metered fare. Repeating, just for the sake of driving the point home. You can now book an auto ride, via the Uber app, and pay in cash at government approved, metered rates. The service is being launched as cash-only; you simply have to select the uberAUTO option in-app, enjoy the ride, and pay your driver directly in cash. Fare adjustments are not possible, pricing will follow fare rules and you do not need a minimum balance in your Paytm wallet to be able make a booking.
uberAUTO is only available within Delhi. Haryana and UP don't have the service as of now.
