What Makes It Awesome

Potato Head Beach Club in Bali was highly recommended to me on my vacation to Indonesia. I had heard great things about the place and its food but I could not imagine how justified every single praise was.

The beach club is located in Badung and you can take a cab to the place which is the easiest way to get there. As you get to the point of entry, you will have to walk a bit. The entrance includes a high grey wall on one side and boutique shops on the right {Do check them out for some quirky clothing items and accessories}. The passage to the main entrance will instantly put you in a chill mood. As you walk past and take a few stairs to the cafe, you will be stunned to witness how beautiful the place is.

The beach club has a covered as well as an open-air seating arrangement with a huge green area which leads to their infinity pool. You can take a dip in the pool and enjoy a few drinks at the in-the-pool bar or indulge in the food first. Make sure you carry an extra pair of clothing as the pool is open to all. As the sun sets and the skyline changes hues, the pool lights are lit.

The view from the cafe escalates as the day advances and drifts to the dark with dim yet elegant lighting all around. The seating is also extended to a floor above that is comfortable and beautiful. Though the seating arrangement is basic and wooden, the greens all over the place add a cosy vibe to the place.

Coming to the food and beverages, we ordered the Vanilla Kopi {vanilla flavoured coffee}, pepperoni pizza, all vegetable garden pizza and Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta. The Vanilla Kopi was unbelievably heavenly and the food was great too. They have a lot of vegetarian options too which makes the place a must visit for the vegetarians.

The staff at the club was very courteous and helped us decide our order. They are also open to customisation of the dishes. You can also walk down the beach and enjoy the view for as long as you want.

The beach club is one of my favourite places in Bali now. Make sure it reserves a spot on your itinerary too.
