World On A Platter: Eateries To Check Out At The World Street Food Festival

Do you live to eat? Then we’ve got you sorted! This weekend drop everything and head to The World Street Food Fest to indulge into mouth-watering street food and decadent desserts from across the globe. The two-day festival (October 20 and 21) will be held at DLF Place, Saket, between 11.00 am and 11.00 pm. What to expect? Everything from Lebanese shawarmas to French crepes, piping hot samosas and chocolaty Belgian waffles. And, while we are at it, don't forget to wash down all this yummy grub with a can of Pepsi Black. 

Think that's all? Not quite! The festival will see some awesome live performances along with an Insta-worthy photo booth by Fujilfilm for you to make some memories with your squad. 

The entry is free and that's all the more reason why you should bring along your entire gang (even your family) for an exciting weekend. Trust us, there is something for everyone out here!

The Belgian Waffle Co.

If waffles are your kind of desserts, then make a beeline for some of the best Belgian waffles in town by The Belgian Waffle Co. From blueberry cream cheese to honey butter and chocolate overload, the options are endless out here. Besides, their ice cream 'waffle-wiches' and thick shakes are not to be missed. 

Chai Peeni Hai

As the name suggests, this one is all about garam garam chai and band makhan. Be it zaffran tea topped with Kashmiri saffron or chota samosas or chatpati nathris, this is the place for that perfect, soul-satisfying evening snack. 

Emoi

For all things nice and sweet, check out Emoi for paw and heart-shaped ice creams, popsicle sorbets, kulfis and chocolate jars. They are known for their unique presentations and quirky flavours like big banoffee, kokum, jamun, peanut, lemon and ginger, watermelon and badaam elaichi.

Firangi N More

Are you a momo freak? Of course you are! So you better check out the Firangi N More booth at WSFF because they’re all about delicious momos that are hard to resist. From soupy to pan fried, and from malai to smoky, tangy and whatnot- at Firangi N More, variety is what you will find. Additionally, they also have a whole bunch of Chinese options ranging from spring rolls to noodles, lollipops, chopsuey and more. 

Nayaab Kitchen

When in mood to eat authentic old-Delhi cuisine, Nayaab Kitchen is the place to go to for rich Mughlai fare. Chicken lovers, this place situated in Zakir Nagar has a lot of options for you. We are sure you will keep licking your fingers after trying their tawa chicken, butter chicken and tandoor chicken. Being broke will not stop you from gorging on these delicacies which are affordable and super-tasty.

Baking Bad Pizza

If the name sounds interesting, read this- at Baking Bad Pizzas, they don’t just serve large pizzas...they serve fully loaded 17.5 inch pizzas. Oh yes! Check out this stall if thin-crust, wood-fired pizzas make your world go round...or triangular? You get it! The veg and non-veg varieties (such as the Hot Spot Veg or The Rustic & The Heisenberg) come with loads of flavourful toppings, and each slice is almost like a meal on its own. They also have some kickass chicken wings. 

Nestle Food Truck

Who doesn’t like Maggi? Nobody! Drop by at the adorable Nestle Food Truck if you and yours would like a bowl of warm, soupy (or dry, you pick) Maggi. Pick from a whole bunch of options such as cheesy, spicy, all-in-one (with veggies, totally reminiscent of home) and more, and put an end to those cravings already.

A fully loaded, meaty shawarma sounds like a great starter for a binge fest, yeah? Make your way to the Shawarma House booth for finger-licking shawarma wraps, shawarma satay, hummus & pita and a whole lot more. Should we remind you to also keep your camera ready? Because the food here looks just as good as it tastes.

Hop over to The American Connection Diner for scrumptious food options including burgers, meatballs & ramen and much more. Pair this food with some refreshing drinks and you’re set for a good evening!

The name itself gives you an idea that they specialise in everything Oriental. Embark on an Asian culinary journey and gorge on Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Malaysian, Burmese and Chinese delicacies which have authentic flavours infused in them. The rolls, noodles, rice bowls, chicken gyozo and honey chili potatoes are some of their specialties. 

MI Food Centre

When in mood for authentic Mughlai food, the stall of MI Food centre is where you need to head. Known for their rolls, biryani, Mughlai and Afghani cuisine, the chicken and mutton preparations are something to drool over. You can satiate your old Delhi street food craving at this place.

Toniq

Toniq is all about continental delicacies. Right from the cheesy pizzas to strong brews, they have all kinds of comfort foods you need to unwind on a hectoc day.
