What Is It?

Tripti G Couture, an Indian wear clothing label, is hosting a day long exhibition in Kailash Colony to showcase a range of elegant {but fun} anarkalis, skirts, crop tops, palazzos, maxi dresses, dhoti pants and kurtis with an edge on September 17.

Who Is It For?

Those who don’t like their Indian formals in done-to-death formats. Tripti’s festive range, aptly named Sparkle, has a bust of lily-like freshness rendered in a modern silhouette. So, if you ask us, this is the place to hit up if someone you know is getting married and you got nothing nice to wear; you’ll be surprised how embroidery, tie-dye, silk, organza and chanderi are given such an interesting twist.

Why Should I Go For It?

The great thing about the label is its ability to woo people as young as 21 to those in their mid-40s. If you don’t have any upcoming wedding scenes, the exhibition still has a lot to offer; we all still go to cool Diwali parties, right?

Anything Else?

If you like the cut of a certain piece but the embroidery of another, or you have a completely different design in mind that you want recreated, Tripti Ghuwalewala offers customisation as well.

The brand’s currently selling online, but this will be their first exhibition in South Delhi. If you’re around, do drop by for a look-see.
