What Is It

If you are a nature lover and looking for volunteering opportunities, join the Conservation Education Centre, Delhi. Set up in 2005, they're aimed at disseminating awareness about conservation of biodiversity among children and adults through field-based educational programmes.

Who Is It For

If conservation of nature is your cause, this is for you! It will also help you understand more about the living world and the role we have to play to conserve it.

Why Should I Go For It

CEC needs volunteers for activities such as free photo expeditions across Delhi, plantation drives, biodiversity survey, road kill awareness campaign, bird monitoring and research at the Delhi zoo. Volunteer training programs are also meant to accelerate the BNHS (Bombay Natural History Society) membership drive.

#LBBTip: The volunteer drive is coinciding with the World Environment Day; what's a better way to celebrate than by pledging a few of your hours to environment conservation?
