Top 50 Emerging Brands | LBB Awards

We’re either eating food or thinking about food because food is life! There’s tons of international brands selling their packaged goods in our markets but when we see a good local brand, we know it’s catering to our specific Indian taste buds! Last year’s winners of Top Emerging Brand Awards powered by PLAY have our meals sorted for a long, long time. The power sponsor, Play is loved by all music enthusiasts and their headphones with noise cancellation feature are a MUST have! Besides headphones they also have some really cool smartwatches & smart gadgets, which adds so much definition to the whole user experience. We can easily say that it is an absolute delight to not just tech geeks but literally anyone who loves having a good musical experience.

Brewhouse Ice Tea

Chai lovers, this iced tea will make you ditch your hot cup of tea on a warm day. Unlike other brands, their iced tea isn’t full of sugar so you taste a perfect balance between the tea and other flavours. They have super fun flavours like forest berry iced tea and the regulars like lemon iced tea. Grab a bottle and take a sip!

Smitten Bakery

Dessert is the most important part of our meal so just a look at Smitten Bakery’s menu makes us drool! They use the freshest ingredients to deliver Instagram-worthy desserts like blueberry tarts and pretty packaged artisanal chocolate bars perfect for gifting.

To Be Healthy

Let’s face it, even when we’re trying to be super healthy, we still can’t help but reach for a snack. To Be Healthy makes the yummiest chips made from veggies like purple sweet potato and okra. The snacks are made in a way to preserve their nutritional value so you’re not consuming empty calories!

Svami

Every drink needs the perfect accompaniment and Svami is our go-to for mixers with their low-sugar tonic waters that  even come in flavours like grapefruit and cucumber! If you’re not a drinker, they’ve even got ginger ale made from locally sourced ingredients!

Bhuira Jam

This brand’s named after the quaint little village their jams are made in, Bhuira Jams are handmade with the freshest of ingredients and are totally natural and free from preservatives. With flavours like strawberry, kiwi, mango and so many more, elevate your breakfast with Bhuira Jam and try their jellies and preserves, too!

Mason & Co.

Chocolate is the ultimate comfort food and Mason & Co.’s chocolate bars are the first we reach for! Their bars are intensely chocolate-y and their super unique flavours (there’s rosemary in one of the bars!) and are all made by an all-female workforce!

Greater Than + Hapusa

This gin is definitely greater than all other gins we’ve tried! It’s the only London dry gin made in India and now our Gin & Tonics (yes, multiple) taste even better than before because we love local as much as we love gin.

The Little Farm Co.

The perfect Indian meal is incomplete without pickle on the side and The Little Farm Co. has a wide range of flavours, something for everyone! Almost all their ingredients are grown in their own farm so what you get is farm to fork, fresh and natural! You can even buy superfoods like chia seeds and a nutty granola for your healthy food fix.

White Rhino

From grain to glass! White Rhino is India’s first craft brewery and they use Indian rolled wheat and fresh coriander from Himalayas for our fix of local beer. They offer a wheat beer, lager and pale ale, so take your pick next time you’re chilling with your friends over a round of beers!

Artisan Meats

What’s a charcuterie board without preserved meats? Artisan Meats are striving to bring back traditionally cured meats without using chemicals and they’re definitely succeeding! They’ve got tons of options from bacon to duck to sausages and we’re already planning our next meal with them.

Stranger & Sons

Gin made in Goa! Stranger & Sons is distilling gin with a soft citrus-y note so it’s perfect in a G&T or in a martini. They get some extra points from us because they’re also trying to be as sustainable as possible by reducing waste throughout the process.

Tea Trunk

Where there’s tea, there’s hope! Tea Trunk’s teas are healthy and flavourful, made with all natural ingredients so our daily cup of tea is fresh and dust-free. All their ingredients are locally sourced and taste so good, they’ll convert a coffeeholic to a tea-lover!
