Christmas, upcoming New Year, a bittersweet closing to the festive season, the biting cold- this beckons comfort food, warm settings, and time off with family and dear friends. Here's how the crew spent the past week!
Return from the North-East | Takdah, Darjeeling, Pelling, Darap, Gangtok, and back to Delhi- that's the route we took for our sojourn around Sikkim. Breathtaking views, cloudy skies, and hikes through forests.. life is pretty awesome in this part of our Country. We highly recommend a trip, ideally when it isn't this cold.
We wish you a merry Christmas | Brunch in Gymkhana Club's sprawling lawns, followed by an indulgent Christmas dinner at Chez Nini, gluttony was key on Christmas day.
Ticket to ride | While one returns from Sikkim, another darts to Jaipur as a prelude to New Year's Eve. Gotta love train journey's and 'Meals on Wheels'. Don't think the Indian Railways catering department has changed their food in the past 3 decades.

Brr, it's cold in here | 4 degrees, jeez, thanks, Delhi! Good thing we've got the comfort of tea straight from Darjeeling. This particular Nathmulls autumn flush is a sip of heaven- and they deliver to Delhi!
Comfort food & Conversations | Spent a sunny afternoon on the rooftop of Le Bistro Du Parc, and continued our festive-season indulgence. Pictured here, Chicken Fricasse. This was devoured, alongside a Grilled Chicken Salad, a pot of Green tea, and two Cappuccinos.
Stationery Junkies | A friend of ours is going back to school {Masters}, and we went school-stuff-shopping for the good sport. Reynolds pen and Natraj pencils? Check! Pencil case? Check! And because he's old enough, a set of playing cards and adult things were packed into this mooch & turban pouch from Play Clan.
