White Deserts, Camping Under Stars & Folk Music: Rann Utsav Is A Festival Like No Other

What's Happening

The Rann Utsav is back again! Between Nov 1 to Feb 20, you can get the chance to see The Great Rann of Kutch in all its glory. This desert festival also brings together various local artisans, folk and sufi artists, and the cuisines of the region at one place.

Rann Utsav offers its fair share of adventure activities too like paramotoring, ATV rides, paint ball, camel safaris and more. Another reason to book your tickets pronto? The surreal sunsets.

How's The Venue

The venue for the festival will be a white salt desert near the village Dhorado in the Rann of Kutch, which, by the way, will be at its beautiful best during this time. A stretch of almost 5,00,000 sq. mts. here has been converted into a carnival with 400 tents, two dining halls, a spa, naturopathy and yoga centre, a cafe, and an event and activity deck.

It'll be all things great, grand and stunning. Sure you want to miss this?

Make A Note

If possible, get your bookings done for the full moon nights. That's when the desert can be seen in all its glory. Don't be disheartened if you don't get your tent on the desired dates though. The Rann Utsav in itself is a great experience!
