What Makes It Awesome

The 2020 pandemic has been quite challenging for all of us, in so many different ways. Like most of us, if you've also been in the midst of a creative slowdown, Project Shoonya is organising a two-week-long Winter Art Residency - Reboot, in one of our favourite places, Jibhi.

With the snow season inching closer, there's no better way to de-stress than to trek along the winter-clad mountains, surrounded by thick forests and breathtaking (to say the least) views. The itinerary is all about getting to know fellow artists, sharing experiences, cultural learnings and being a part of engaging workshops and activities like walks, treks, folk dance, musical jams near the bonfire and lots more.

This Reboot is exactly what all of us require in order to get our thoughts in place and the perfect alternative to a year (well, almost) of confinement. And honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.

When: December 1 - December 15 2020

Where: Jibhi, Himachal Pradesh

Accommodation: Innayat, Ghiyagi

Price: INR 12,000 which includes breakfast, dinner, workshops and accommodation.

How To Register: All you need to do is fill up their Google Form with some basic details along and a few things that talk about your passion(s) and artwork. Registrations close on November 25.

Pro-Tip

There are only 10 spots to this residency and since the registrations close on November 25, we'd suggest you register right away!

Note: The images shown are from the previous Shoonya Festival which is done at a bigger level than residency and the Reboot: Winter Art Residency is open only for 10 artists. Also, we'd suggest you take your own precautions by wearing masks at all times and practicing social distancing while heading out.

Probably found writing something under a bald tree, with my earphones on, next to a dog and a gigantic bowl of Caramel Popcorn!
